Preparation depends on the condition of the concrete and the system being installed. This may include mechanical surface preparation, crack or surface repair, leveling, and other steps needed for proper adhesion and long-term performance.
Do you grind the concrete before coating?
Yes. Proper grinding or mechanical surface preparation is an important part of helping the coating bond correctly and perform well over time.
Can you coat cracked or damaged concrete?
Yes. Cracks and surface damage can be addressed during prep, but the right approach depends on the type and severity of the damage.
Cure Times
When can I walk on it?
Typically within 1–2 days, depending on the system installed and site conditions. We'll give you specific guidance on when your new floor is ready for foot traffic.
When can I park on it?
Typically within 2–3 days. Vehicle traffic usually requires more cure time than foot traffic. We will let you know when it is safe to park on your new floor based on the system used and the conditions on site.

How much does epoxy flooring cost?
Cost depends on the size of the space, the condition of the concrete, the amount of prep required, and the type of finish selected. The most accurate way to price a project is through an on-site assessment. Our minimum job price starts at $2,500 CAD.

Price is mainly affected by square footage, concrete condition, repair needs, prep requirements, and the coating system or finish selected. More demanding spaces or decorative finishes can also increase cost.
